THE PHILIPPINES HERALD — Maine Mendoza “Yup, I Am That Girl” is a best seller, The book of the Phenomenal star Maine Mendoza lands on first place on the list of best selling on National Bookstore for November. The “Yup, I Am That Girl” is the first ever book launched and written by the Kapuso actress and Dubsmash Queen Maine Mendoza (Yaya Dub). In the book is where Maine revealed her “unfiltered self”.
Mendoza’s face might be every where due to her numerous endorsements and projects. You can see her on a giant billboard and be doing the wackiest of things on television but still remained shy person in a real life.
And in the book is where she gave her fans a glimpse of her other side behind the cameras—the real her.
“When I was around 13-years-old, I secretly dream’t of becoming a showbiz personality and seeing myself on billboards and in magazines,” confides Maine in Yup, I Am That Girl book.
“But I knew it was far-fetched because of my ‘mahiyain’ [shy] personality.”
A victorious Maine then declares, “Ta da! Look at where I am now. Akalain mo nga naman. Puwede rin pala, no?’ Who would have thought I could live out this fantasy? Kaya I am telling you guys, nothing’s impossible in this world—not even your wildest dreams! Puwedeng-puwede ‘yang matupad.”
And now, she is indeed the Phenomenal star for her book during the initial launching has been sold out.
For the month of November this year. her book topped the list of best sellers and the Mega Magazine where she got featured and she was on the front cover in on the Top 4.
